"Kathleen and Kristen at Once Upon an Updo are an amazing hair and makeup team! They are each able to perform both roles and can switch when needed to make sure the schedule for your event stays on track. About a month before my wedding, I had a hair and makeup trial at my apartment to test out the desired look for the day. It took about two hours and they were both very thorough in playing with different looks for makeup and updo style. Afterwards, they were very responsive via Facebook regarding minor tweaks to my look, as well as discussing hair and makeup styles for my wedding party. On the day of the wedding, they travelled to our hotel in Ajax and did a wonderful job not only executing the look we had planned together, but also the looks that my bridal party wanted and had not yet been able to test. They are also a bundle of fun and made getting ready for the day much less stressful. I had considered doing my own hair and makeup, but when it comes down to it, it's really not worth the stress. Kathleen and Kristen will travel to you, bring everything you need, and do an amazing job for a very affordable price, giving you peace of mind and allowing you to actually enjoy the process of getting ready before your wedding!"
